Nomad Surf Camps war stolz darauf, bereits 1998 das allererste Surf Camp für Kinder und Jugendliche in Portugal ins Leben zu rufen.
Nomad Surf Camps organisiert das wahrscheinlich internationalste Surfcamp für Jugendliche in Europa. Das Nomad Surf Camp (Lissabon) befindet sich am Strand von Costa Caparica,
Wir haben unseren Betrieb nur 100 Meter vom Strand und nur 15 Minuten vom internationalen Flughafen Lissabon entfernt. Es ist einer von vielen Urlaubsorten in Zentralportugal, der für seine Schönheit und touristischen Angebote bekannt ist.
Ein privilegierter Ort für ein Jugend-Camp in der Nähe eines sehr langen Sandstrandes mit sanften Beachbreaks, perfekt für Anfänger. Es ist ein idyllischer Ort zum Üben und vor allem zum Erlernen des Surfens im Sommer. Unser Sommercamp hat im Laufe der Jahre Teenager im Alter von 12 bis 17 Jahren aus Russland, Italien, Großbritannien, Frankreich, Schweiz, Belgien, USA, Kanada, Spanien und anderen Ländern beherbergt.

In unserem Surf Camp für Kinder in Lissabon besteht das kräftige Frühstück aus Obst, Orangensaft, Croissants, Toast, Vollkornbrot, Marmeladen, Honig, Milch, Kaffee, Kakao, Schinken, Käse, Müsli und Cornflakes.
Mittag- und Abendessen sind abwechslungsreich und bieten alle wichtigen Nährstoffe für Teenager in diesem Alter. Es gibt eine Vorspeise oder Suppe, ein Hauptgericht und ein Dessert. Säfte und Wasser sind ebenfalls inklusive. Wir kochen auch für Zöliakie-Betroffene oder vegetarische Teenager.

Nomad Surfers unterrichtet Kinder seit 1998 im Surfen. Unser Team aus qualifizierten Lehrern sorgt dafür, dass die Kinder jederzeit unter Aufsicht stehen — während der Surfkurse und aller Aktivitäten — und stets von unseren Betreuern begleitet werden, um ihre Sicherheit und ihr Wohlbefinden zu gewährleisten.
Die Freiheit, das Surfcamp in ihrer eigenen freien Zeit unbegleitet zu verlassen, ist nur mit der Autorisierung der Eltern erlaubt. Es gelten Regeln. Bitte kontaktieren Sie uns für weitere Informationen.

Unser Surfcamp für Teenager in Portugal
EINRICHTUNGEN
Nomad Surf Camps hat seinen Standort in Lissabon in ein neu gebautes Gebäude direkt am Strand verlegt. Dadurch können unsere Teilnehmer nun nur 100 Meter zu Fuß zum Strand für die Surfstunden gehen.
Die Jugendlichen werden rund um die Uhr von unserem Team betreut, einschließlich medizinischer Ersthilfe. Der Eingang des Surfcamps wird nachts geschlossen und wir haben einen Sicherheitsmitarbeiter vor Ort.
Die Pakete beinhalten eine gemeinsame Unterkunft in Zimmern für 6 oder 8 Personen. (Vollständige Privatsphäre ist ebenfalls möglich in Vierbett-, Dreibett-, Zweibett- und Einzelzimmern.) Alle unsere Camps sind gemischt, jedoch erfolgt die Zimmerverteilung nach Geschlecht und Alter (13–17 Jahre).
Wir empfehlen den Eltern, den Kindern etwas Taschengeld mitzugeben für den Verkaufsautomaten in der Unterkunft, den Supermarkt, Mittag- und Abendessen am Ausflugstag, Eiscreme, Souvenirs, Getränke oder zusätzliche Aktivitäten wie Paintball, die nicht im Paket enthalten sind. Außerdem benötigen sie Geld für den ersten Tag, da hier nur das Abendessen enthalten ist, sowie für den letzten Tag, an dem nur das Frühstück inbegriffen ist.

Surfunterricht
Die Surf Camps für Kinder in Portugal dauern 7 Tage, obwohl die meisten Teilnehmer 2 oder 3 Wochen bleiben. Am Anreisetag gibt es am Abend bereits eine Surfstunde. Das Surfcenter ist nur 1 Minute zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt. Alle Aktivitäten finden auf Englisch statt.
Es gibt jeden Tag Surfunterricht, meistens 2 Surfeinheiten pro Tag. Die Dauer hängt von den Bedingungen ab, aber unser Ziel ist es, mindestens 4 Stunden Surfunterricht pro Tag anzubieten. Die weiteren Aktivitäten sind darauf ausgerichtet, deine sportlichen Fähigkeiten zu fördern, deine Fitness zu verbessern und vor allem Spaß zu haben und das Nomad Summer Surf Camp zu erleben – die beste Erfahrung deines Lebens! Das gesamte Material ist inklusive, und wir haben ein Verhältnis von nur 6 Jugendlichen pro Lehrer!
Für diejenigen, die nicht mit einem Soft-Top-Surfboard surfen möchten, bieten wir „Torq“-Fiberglass-Surfboards an. Allerdings wirst du wahrscheinlich in der Nähe der anderen Anfänger surfen, sodass du seitlich freisurfen musst. Verfügbare Größen: 5’11 (Fish), 6’3, 6’6, 6’8, 6’10, 7’2, 7’6, 7’8.

Wie sind die Wellen in Caparica?
Costa da Caparica ist bekannt für einige der besten Beachbreaks in der Region Lissabon. Außerdem ist es der Austragungsort einiger der renommiertesten europäischen Surfcontests. Durch den Schutz vor den vorherrschenden Nordwinden sind die Bedingungen hier meist glatter als an anderen Surfspots in Lissabon.
Zudem ist der Swell in Costa da Caparica etwas kleiner als in Orten wie Guincho oder Praia Grande, was es ideal für Surfer macht – selbst dann, wenn die Westküste aufgrund des starken Swells bereits unsurfbar ist.

Wo genau befindet sich unser Surf Camp für Kinder in Portugal?
LAGE
Unser Nomad Surfcamp für Teenager befindet sich an der Küste von Costa da Caparica, nur 20 Minuten vom Zentrum Lissabons und vom internationalen Flughafen Lissabon entfernt. Die Region bietet 13 km lange Sandstrände, umgeben von den Naturschutzgebieten der Fossilen Klippen von Costa da Caparica und den Mêdos-Wäldern.
Almada besitzt zudem historische Zentren und zahlreiche sehenswerte Orte, wie das Herrenhaus Zagallos in Sobreda oder das Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst in der Casa da Cerca im alten Almada – sowie viele weitere Highlights.
Das Kids Surfcamp liegt nur 1 Minute zu Fuß vom Strand, von Restaurants, einer Bäckerei und Supermärkten entfernt.

FLUGHAFENTRANSFERS
Sie müssen sich keine Sorgen über die Anreise zum Lisbon Teens Surf Camp machen. Wir haben den ganzen Tag über einen Mitarbeiter am Flughafen Lissabon, der die Jugendlichen empfängt und sie zum Camp begleitet.
Ankünfte und Abholungen
Wir bieten Abholungen am Flughafen von 14:00 bis 20:00 Uhr an.
– Der Check-in in die Zimmer erfolgt nach 16:00 Uhr.
– Wenn Ihr Kind vor 14:00 Uhr ankommt, müssen Sie den Service außerhalb der regulären Zeiten buchen, der eine Gebühr für Betreuung und Nutzung der Einrichtungen beinhaltet.
Sie können Ihr Kind mit jedem Flug schicken, aber für eine reibungslosere Ankunft empfehlen wir Flüge, die zwischen 13:00 und 18:00 Uhr landen.
Abreisen und Transfers
Wir bieten Transfers zum Flughafen von 08:00 bis 14:00 Uhr an.
– Der Check-out der Zimmer erfolgt vor 10:00 Uhr.
– Flüge sollten nicht vor 09:00 Uhr abfliegen.
– Wenn Ihr Kind vor 08:00 Uhr oder nach 14:00 Uhr abreisen muss, sollten Sie den Service außerhalb der regulären Zeiten buchen.
Unser Personal begleitet die Jugendlichen am Abreisetag und hilft ihnen beim Check-in am Flughafen.
Transfers (Flughafen, Bahnhof oder Busbahnhof)
Sie müssen uns lediglich die Ankunfts- und Abreisedaten Ihres Kindes mitteilen.
Wir organisieren den Transfer von:

Wenn Sie den Transfer bei uns buchen, erhalten Sie:
– den Treffpunkt am Flughafen
– den Namen und die Telefonnummer des Mitarbeiters, der Ihr Kind empfängt
Zusätzliche Gebühren fallen an, wenn die Fluggesellschaft den Service für Unbegleitete Minderjährige (UM) verlangt.
Wartezeit
Ihr Kind kann zur gleichen Zeit wie andere Jugendliche aus verschiedenen Flügen ankommen. Obwohl wir stets versuchen, die Wartezeiten zu minimieren, können Wartezeiten von bis zu zwei Stunden am Flughafen auftreten – aufgrund von Flugverspätungen oder Verkehr.
“In June of 2018, I was lucky enough to find Nomad Surfers online. My son, Adam, was 16 at the time. We live in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the US. He had surfed 1 time in Costa Rica and really wanted an international camp experience. I had never heard of Nomad Surfers, but we took a leap of faith and signed him up! He did the 10 day Algarves, Portugal camp with Nomad Surfers iin 2018 and last summer (2019) he spent 10 days in Lisbon surfing with Nomad. Needless to say, HE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Meeting young people from all over the world expanded his awareness and, quite honestly, changed his perception of the world and its opportunities. Thais Almeida was so helpful and made some nervous parents...put your 16 year old on a plane in New Mexico and hope that he lands safely in a surf camp in Portugal... feel secure. Last summer, Adam's phone was stolen in Lisbon on Day 3 and he was going to be spending some time in Barcelona after the Lisbon surf camp with friends from the Algarve 2018 camp (Not bad, huh?). “Hi Nomad Surf Camps, I recently got home from Caparica, Portugal. I really enjoyed my time at the camp and made lots of friends. We all enjoyed the camp so much that we are trying to arrange to go back next year. However, next year I will have turned 18 and as it’s an under 18’s camp I’m unsure as to whether I’ll be able to go. However, if I attended an over 18 camp I believe I would feel uncomfortable as the majority of people there would be adults and I will only be 18. As well as this I noticed that at the under 18’s surf camp I went to there were a couple of 18 year olds. One of the biggest reasons I would want to go back next year is to see the friends I made this year and I would not be able to do that if I went to the over 18’s camp. I really want to see my friends again and want to attend the under 18’s Caparica surf camp next year. Would this be allowed even though I will be 18? Many thanks, Archie”
